Erin Montgomery was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, but Houston has always been home. She graduated from Westbury High School in 1984. She followed in the footsteps of her parents, older sister and only brother and attended the University of Texas – Austin, and finished college with a degree in Communications.
Erin is a licensed funeral director. She attended mortuary school at Amarillo College, and graduated with honors in 2009.
Erin strongly believes is serving her community. She is a member of the Junior League of Houston, Baylor College of Medicine Partnership, and the co-founder and founding president of the National Charity League – Memorial Chapter. She is a member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church.
Erin has a daughter in college, Meredith Grace; too many cats to count, and Pistachio, her yellow-naped Amazon parrot. Her family is her heart, and spends most Sunday evenings cooking family dinner at her home with her parents, daughter, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends.
