Marty Felsen December 31, 1932 - February 27, 2016

Marty Felsen passed away peacefully February 27, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 31, 1932 to Sol and Betty Felsen in Bronx, New York. When Marty was on his way to California he stopped in Houston and never left. He said “this is the cleanest city, I have ever seen.” Soon after he arrived he met his wife of 56 years, Elsa. He owned a jewelry business for many years. He also served in the Korean War. Marty loved his family, baseball, barbecuing and dogs. He managed a semi pro baseball team in Houston for many years that made it to the state championships. He was an outstanding baseball player and had a true love for the game.
