Jason LaBelle December 1, 1977 - June 3, 2017

Jason Howard LaBelle, 39, passed on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the West Houston Medical Center in Houston, TX following a brief illness.
Jason leaves behind his loving parents, Cheryl and Guy LaBelle; his brother, Scott LaBelle; his grandparents, Betty and Warren Klein; his aunts Randi Morkisz, Jaimie Von Ellen and Lori Schkolnick; his uncles, his cousins, and his many friends.

Jason was born in Buffalo, New York, and raised in Houston, Texas, where he graduated from Alief Elsik High School.

Jason had many passions in his life, but none bigger than the passion he had for his family. He adored his Nana and Papa, his amazing aunts and uncles, and each of his six cousins. He looked forward to nothing more than spending Thanksgivings in New Jersey, or taking trips to the Outer Banks, with his entire family. He was extremely close with his parents and brother, and rarely missed an opportunity to share a Sunday dinner, a Saturday night beer, a weeknight movie, or just a talk over the phone with them.

As a young adult, Jason began working for Data Display as an Audio/Visual Technician, and would continue working with the organization throughout the duration of his life. Jason was truly passionate about Data Display and his work, and even more so about his coworkers. He made many close friends while working at Data Display, and cherished the relationships he developed with those throughout his work family. During his time with Data Display, Jason traveled extensively, and shared his large and sincere smile with the world. Jason loved to travel, and was fortunate to visit places like London, Florence, Barcelona, Norway, Stavanger, Abu Dhabi, and Amsterdam, which was one of his favorites.

As a lifelong sports fan, Jason’s love for the Buffalo Bills knew no bounds. He spent most Sundays with his brother, as they frustratingly watched their beloved Bills fumble through games week after week and season after season. He also enjoyed watching his Houston Rockets, and managing his fantasy sports teams.
