Although their special bond wasn’t immediately recognized, they later reconnected in Houston, fell in love and were married for 56 wonderful and loving years. Bonnie was a devoted wife to Ivan and mother to her children, Randy and Tracey. She loved her family unconditionally and supported them in every way possible. To further his career, she and Ivan left Houston and relocated to live in Honolulu, Hawaii for twelve years. Upon his retirement they returned to live in Houston. Bonnie showed the same love to her extended family and friends, always giving of herself, encouraging everyone with kind words. She loved life in general. Bonnie was creative, funny; and loved fashion, to dance, and to let her granddaughters play with her clothes and make-up. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband and her brother Leland J. Schwartz. She is survived by her children: Randy and his wife Deanna, Tracey Spitz and her husband Nelson; her grandchildren Brooke Wise and her husband Jeffrey, Alexandra and Jacqueline Golden, Brian Spitz and his partner James Muscolino Spitz, and Julie Spitz; and her great grandchildren Blake Ivy Wise and Reagan Alma Spitz.
