Roslyn Seltzer June 12, 1929 - May 30, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Roslyn M. Seltzer shares her passing on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018.

“Rozie” bounded into the Miller family on June 12, 1929 to Aaron G Miller and Evelyn Green Miller  leaving not a note unsung or a story untold in her 88 years.She was a graduate of Stephens College in Columbia Missouri.  Always generous with a contagious grin, a lively tale, and a gourmet meal, Roz made friends wherever she went. Roz was extremely active in many jewish organizations. She was a gifted writer and talented singer It is no doubt this effervescence that captivated her beloved husband of 50 years, Matthew. Roslyn’s devotion to her Matt was unmatched.


A true Yinzer, Pittsburgh remained home in her heart, though life’s adventures took “Rozie” to Boca Raton, FL and Houston, TX to be close to family and in search of butterflies.

Roslyn is lovingly remembered by her sister Chellee Siegel (Phillip Siegel) , daughter Sandi Seltzer Bryant (John Bryant), son Marshall Seltzer, granddaughter Aryn Bryant (Shaun McClintock), and cherished nieces and nephews.A special thanks to Jackie who was “Rozie s” dear caregiver and Irene her favorite nurse .She will rest with her husband, Matthew Seltzer.

The Funeral will be Sunday June 3,2018 at 11am at the Proler Chapel at Congregation Beth Israel Memorial Garden on Antoine. Rabbi Foster officiating.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish Chaplaincy Program of Jewish Family Service, 4131 South Braeswood, Houston, TX 77025.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Sunday, June 3, 2018, Congregation Beth Israel Memorial Garden in the Proler Chapel with graveside to follow.
